Repenser et transformer nos villes, voilà le travail de Janette Sadik-Khan, qui a été responsable du transport de New York (entre 2007 et 2013) et qui travaille maintenant avec les maires du monde entier à remodeler leurs villes.

Janette Sadik-Khan a reconfiguré New York au profit des cyclistes et des piétons, dans ce qu’elle n’a pas peur d’appeler « La bataille de la rue » et qu’elle désigne de « révolution urbaine ». L’ouvrage « Street fight » qui paraît ce 8 mars 2016, montre comment elle a mis en oeuvre ces transformations, développées rapidement, à peu de frais et redynamisant la ville.
